The "M4-200/210" is an S800 optical FireWire repeater manufactured by Opticis. It allows for an extension of up to 500 meters, exceeding the limit of 4.5 meters for copper cables without using distribution amplifiers or repeaters. The basic model "M4-200" consists of two units that have one optical and two electrical ports each. Furthermore, by installing multiple "M4-201" units, which have two optical and one electrical port between the two units, you can extend to even more IEEE1394 devices using optical fiber. 【Features】 ■ Extends IEEE1394b protocol signals up to 500 meters using two 50μm multimode quartz fiber cores. ■ If you want to extend one camera, you can do so with just the "M4-200" (one pair of modules). ■ Complies not only with 1394b-2002 but also retroactively with 1394a-2000 & 1995. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
